Recently, the Government of Vietnam issued Decree 112/2020/ND-CP on disciplinary actions against Vietnamese officials and public employees.
What are the procedures for organizing a meeting for review of Vietnamese public employees from September 20? (Illustration)
According to the provisions of Clause 3, Article 33 of Decree 112/2020/ND-CP, the procedures for organizing a meeting for review of Vietnamese public employees are carried out as follows:
- The chairperson of the meeting announces the reason for the meeting, informs or authorizes the advisory body on organization and personnel to announce the following contents: summary of the working process; violation; disciplinary measure (if any); the time the violation occurred, the time the violation was detected; aggravating and mitigating circumstances of the violator; statute of limitations and time limit for disciplinary action according to the provisions of the law;
- The violator presents a self-review, clearly stating the violation and self-designating a disciplinary measure. If the violator is present at the meeting but does not make a self-review, the review meeting will still proceed. If the violator is absent, the review meeting will proceed after two notices summoning the meeting have been sent;
- Members attending the meeting give their opinions, clearly stating their viewpoints on the contents specified at point a of this clause;
- The chairperson of the meeting concludes.
Note: The content of the review meeting must be recorded in the minutes.
