What are the duties of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command?

Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Guard High Command is a unit under the Ministry of National Defense, with the following duties and authorities:

- Carry out the task of long-term preservation and absolute safety protection of President Ho Chi Minh's body.- Manage, operate, and ensure the technical maintenance of President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and related technical works.- Ensure security, maintain combat readiness, and perform ceremonies.- Organize reception and guide domestic and international visitors to pay respects to President Ho Chi Minh, commemorate Heroes and Martyrs, visit the K9 relic site, and participate in political and cultural activities.- Research, cooperate, and apply science and technology in body preservation to serve visitors.- Coordinate and collaborate with units in the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Management Board, Ba Dinh Historical-Cultural Relic Complex, ministries, sectors, and localities where stationed to perform assigned tasks.- Implement regulations, rules, and legal documents of the Communist Party, State, and Army related to directing and performing special political tasks. Issue decisions, regulations, and rules for unit management within the scope of authority.- Execute policies and report to the Ministry of National Defense and relevant agencies as stipulated.- Perform other tasks assigned by the competent authority.
