What are the Duties and Powers of the Provincial Veterinary Council?

Circular 12/2016/TT-BNNPTNT has been signed and promulgated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, stipulating the organization, functions, tasks, and powers of Veterinary Councils at all levels.

Circular 12/2016/TT-BNNPTNT stipulates the duties and powers of the Provincial Veterinary Council as follows:

- Advising on guidelines, policies, programs, projects, and plans in veterinary activities at the local level; assessing the enforcement of veterinary laws at the local level;- Advising and proposing solutions for the prevention and control of animal diseases when such diseases spread rapidly and widely at the local level;- Advising on the establishment of animal disease-free zones at the local level;- Advising on matters related to the use of veterinary drugs for newly emerging animal diseases at the local level;- Advising on the management of veterinary practice activities; socializing veterinary practice services at the local level;- Advising on the application of new scientific and technological advancements in the field of veterinary medicine at the local level;- Performing other tasks as assigned by the Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
