What are the contents of specialized diplomatic inspection activities?

International Treaties and Agreements:

- Compliance with laws and regulations on the signing, accession, and implementation of international treaties as prescribed by law;- Compliance with laws and regulations on the signing and implementation of international agreements as prescribed by law.

Management of International Conferences and Seminars in Vietnam:

- Issuance of permits for organizing international conferences and seminars;- Implementation of procedures for organizing international conferences and seminars as prescribed by law.

Management of Activities of Non-Governmental Organizations in Vietnam:

- Issuance, renewal, amendment, supplementation, and revocation of operation licenses for foreign non-governmental organizations;- Compliance with the contents of the operation licenses of foreign non-governmental organizations;- Compliance with laws and regulations in the management of activities of foreign non-governmental organizations.

Consular Affairs:

- Issuance, renewal, amendment, supplementation, cancellation of passports, issuance of visas, and implementation of laws and regulations on exit and entry under the management of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as prescribed by law;- Consular certification, consular legalization, notarization, authentication, and judicial entrustment as prescribed by law;- Implementation of laws and regulations on nationality and civil status of Vietnamese citizens and foreigners under the management of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as prescribed by law;- Implementation of other consular tasks as prescribed by law.

Protocol Affairs:

- Implementation of regulations on external ceremonial protocols in organizing official visits abroad, welcoming foreign guests, diplomatic delegations, and international organizations;- Implementation of regulations, policies on privileges and immunities for Diplomatic Missions, Consular Posts, Representative Offices of the United Nations System International Organizations, Intergovernmental International Organizations in Vietnam, and members of these Representative Offices.

External Information Affairs:

- Implementation of laws and regulations on the activities of foreign press permanent offices in Vietnam;- Implementation of laws and regulations on managing the press activities of foreign correspondents both permanent and non-permanent in Vietnam.

Economic Diplomacy Affairs:

Implementation of laws and regulations on economic diplomacy under the state management scope of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Department of Foreign Affairs.

Cultural Diplomacy Affairs:

Implementation of laws and regulations on cultural diplomacy under the state management scope of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Department of Foreign Affairs.

Border and National Territory Affairs:

Chair and cooperate with related agencies for sectoral inspection on border and national territory affairs.

Affairs of Vietnamese People Abroad:

Implementation of laws and regulations in the field of affairs concerning Vietnamese people abroad under the state management scope of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
