On June 26, 2013, the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam issued Circular 79/2013/TT-BQP regulating the functions, duties, powers, organizational structure, and work relations of the legal organization and legal officers in the military in Vietnam.
What are tasks and powers in respect of State compensation in Vietnam? (Illustrative image)
According to Circular 79/2013/TT-BQP, six tasks and powers in respect of State compensation of the legal organization and legal officers in the Military are stipulated. To be specific:
Advise and assist the Minister in executing state management over compensation work under the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam's jurisdiction.
Preside, cooperate with relevant agencies, and assist the Minister in guiding, inspecting, and auditing the resolution of state compensation within the Ministry of National Defense's management scope.
Preside, cooperate with relevant agencies, and supervise and expedite the payment of compensation and the execution of repayment responsibilities by the agencies and units.
Preside, cooperate with relevant agencies, and advise and assist the Minister in determining the agency responsible for compensation.
Preside, cooperate with relevant agencies, and advise and assist the Minister in resolving complaints, denunciations, and handling legal violations regarding state compensation within the Ministry of National Defense's jurisdiction.
Organize a bi-annual and annual review and evaluation of the implementation of state compensation work within the Ministry of National Defenseo of Vietnam's scope.
