Circular 17/2013/TT-BGDDT prescribes the framework program for the professional intermediate level in the field of Fermentation Engineering Technology designed to train technicians with professional intermediate level in the field of Fermentation Technology in Vietnam. These technicians are to have ethics, professional conscience, cooperative attitudes with colleagues, respect for the law and workplace regulations, as well as good health to facilitate their employability and ability to advance their studies, meeting the socio-economic development requirements in Vietnam.
The course content includes basic knowledge about the technology of fermenting food products. The program equips learners with knowledge and skills in fermentation engineering technology, providing assistance to engineers and experts in calculating and estimating products and equipment for research, analysis of product samples for production in fermentation engineering technology. Additionally, learners are equipped with basic knowledge of politics, law, national defense - security, physical education, informatics, and foreign languages.
Upon graduation, the learner becomes a professional intermediate-level technician in Fermentation Engineering Technology, capable of operating equipment in the brewing fermentation system; alcohol, spirit and traditional fermentation at food production companies, food equipment supply companies, and agencies and organizations operating in the food technology sector. Graduates will also have the ability to continue their studies at college and university levels.
