What are funding sources for organization of home-based/community-based rehabilitation in Vietnam? (Internet image)
Article 7 of Decree 94/2010/ND-CP stipulates the sources of funding for organizing home-based/community-based rehabilitation in Vietnam, including:
- Local budget;- Central budget allocated through the National Target Program for Drug Prevention and Control;- Contributions from individuals and families of drug addicts;
- Mobilization from donations by organizations and individuals both inside and outside the country, and other lawful support sources according to the provisions of the law.
State budget supports the expenditures for organizing drug home-based/community-based rehabilitation as follows:
- For voluntary drug detoxification at home:
- One-time support for medication to relieve withdrawal symptoms for subjects from poor households, policy families according to the Ordinance on Incentives for People with Meritorious Services to the Revolution, minors, subjects under social protection, and people with disabilities;
- Preparation and approval of voluntary detoxification registration dossiers.
- For drug detoxification in the community:
- One-time support for medication to relieve withdrawal symptoms for subjects from poor households, policy families according to the Ordinance on Incentives for People with Meritorious Services to the Revolution, minors, subjects under social protection, and people with disabilities;
- Investment in and renovation of facilities, purchase of equipment for detoxification treatment centers;
- Regular operational expenses of detoxification treatment centers;
- Preparation and approval of detoxification dossiers.
- Financial support for officials of the Task Force when participating in treatment, management, protection, counseling, and support for drug addicts.
