Recently, the Government of Vietnam has issued Decree 99/2006/ND-CP on the inspection of the implementation of policies, strategies, planning, and plans in Vietnam.
What are contents of inspection of the implementation of policies and strategies in Vietnam? (Illustrative image)
Article 6 of Decree 99/2006/ND-CP prescribes the contents of inspection of the implementation of policies and strategies in Vietnam as follows:
1. Contents for inpsecting policy implementation:
- Plan for policy implementation;
- Progress in organizing the implementation of solutions;
- Violations, weaknesses in policy implementation;
- Results of policy implementation; limitations, reasons for non-implementation or poor implementation of the policy;
- Responsibilities of agencies, organizations, and authorized persons in organizing policy implementation (including the responsibility of the primary agency and the responsibilities of related agencies);
- Suitability of the policy with socio-economic conditions.
2. Contents for inpsecting strategy implementation in Vietnam:
- Plan for strategy implementation;
- Implementation of the major goals of the strategy;
- Progress and extent of implementation of strategic solutions including the organizational measures for strategy execution;
- Violations, weaknesses in strategy implementation;
- Results of strategy implementation; limitations, reasons for non-implementation or poor implementation of the strategy;
- Responsibilities of agencies, organizations, and authorized persons in organizing strategy implementation (including the responsibility of the primary agency and the responsibilities of related agencies);
- Suitability of the strategy with socio-economic conditions.
More details can be found in Decree 99/2006/ND-CP which comes into force in Vietnam from October 15, 2006.
