Waste Incinerator for Solid Household Waste Must Have Three Main Stages

The content is stipulated in Circular 03/2016/TT-BTNMT issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment on March 10, 2016.

Circular 03 stipulates that incinerators must be equipped with an exhaust gas treatment system that includes the following main stages:

- Cooling (rapid temperature reduction);- Dust treatment;- Treatment of hazardous components in exhaust gas.

The above stages can be performed separately by individual equipment or simultaneously by combined equipment.

In addition, Circular 03 also stipulates the monitoring of household solid waste incinerators as follows:

- Household solid waste incinerators must be equipped with devices to measure and display temperature in the combustion zones. For incinerators with a capacity equal to or greater than 500kg/h, devices to measure and display exhaust gas temperature immediately after the cooling unit must be installed.- Periodic environmental monitoring for household solid waste incinerators must be carried out in accordance with current regulations and requirements of environmental management agencies.
