Wages, Training Support Allowances, and Sports Competition Fees: What Are the Amounts?

According to the provisions of Decree 152, the salary and training support, as well as competition allowances for coaches and athletes, vary depending on the specific subjects. Details are as follows:

1. Coaches and athletes of national first teams, youth teams; teams under ministries, provinces, and centrally-governed cities receiving salaries from the State Budget (NSNN):

- Entitled to the full salary that they are currently receiving, paid by their managing agencies;- Entitled to a monetary supplement in case their average salary per working day in a month is lower than the rates stipulated in items 2 and 3 below.

2. Coaches of national first teams, youth teams; teams under ministries, provinces, and centrally-governed cities not receiving salaries from the State Budget (NSNN):

- Head coach of the national first team: 505,000 VND/person/day;- Coach of the national first team: 375,000 VND/person/day;- Head coach of the national youth team: 375,000 VND/person/day;- Coach of the national youth team: 270,000 VND/person/day;- Coach of ministerial, provincial, and city teams: 215,000 VND/person/day;- Coach of ministerial, provincial, and city youth teams: 180,000 VND/person/day;- Coach of talent teams under ministries, provinces, and centrally-governed cities: 180,000 VND/person/day.

3. Athletes of national first teams, youth teams; teams under ministries, provinces, and centrally-governed cities not receiving salaries from the State Budget (NSNN):

- Athlete of the national first team: 270,000 VND/person/day;- Athlete of the national youth team: 215,000 VND/person/day;- Athlete of ministerial, provincial, and city teams: 180,000 VND/person/day.

4. Athletes of ministerial, provincial, and city youth teams and talent teams not receiving salaries from the State Budget (NSNN):

- Athlete of the ministerial, provincial, and city youth team: 75,000 VND/person/day;- Athlete of talent teams under ministries, provinces, and centrally-governed cities: 55,000 VND/person/day.

Additionally, the aforementioned subjects are entitled to extra allowances for actual training and competition days exceeding 26 days in a month. The additional support is calculated by multiplying the daily rate by 200%.
