Vocational Training Institutions Must Create Conditions for Students to Participate in Sports

Recently, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs issued Circular 15/2013/TT-BLDTBXH regulating the organization of physical education and sports activities for students in vocational training institutions.

Based on the regulations in Article 16 of Circular 15/2013/TT-BLDTBXH, vocational training institutions are responsible for organizing physical and sports activities for students. To be specific:

- Annually, develop plans for organizing physical and sports activities for students and appropriate institutional sports events, ensuring practicality and effectiveness; allocate reasonable funds to organize physical and sports activities for students; organize self-inspection and assess the implementation results of the unit.- Closely coordinate with local sports management agencies, organizations, and unions within the vocational training institution to encourage and motivate students to actively participate in physical and sports activities.- Facilitate students in participating in physical and sports activities and sports events at all levels.- Establish and organize delegations to participate in provincial-level and national-level sports events.- Enhance facilities and equipment serving the unit's physical and sports activities.- Perform other tasks as required.- Approve the annual plans for organizing physical and sports activities for students of the vocational training institution.- Approve the plans for organizing institutional-level sports events.- Decide on the establishment of the Organizing Committee and the Referee Council for institutional-level sports events.- Be responsible for organizing physical and sports activities for the students within the unit.
