Vietnam: What are the contents of a denunciation verification report?

According to the Circular No. 129/2020/TT-BCA issued by the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, the verification team will draft a report on verification results according to the prescribed form. The report on verification of denunciation contents includes:

- Denunciation contents and results of verification of each denunciation content;

- Documents and evidences to prove whether the denunciation contents are true or false;

- Comments and evaluations on the denunciation contents assigned to verify are true, partially true or false; illegal acts of the denounced person, related agencies, organizations and individuals; material and spiritual damage caused by law violations; damaged object; the cause and responsibility of the denounced person; relevant agencies, organizations and individuals;

- To propose competent persons to apply measures to handle violations against law and 

remedial measures caused by violations.

- In case of re-settling the denunciation case or settling the denunciation according to the provisions of Clause 5 Article 38 of the Law on Denunciation of Vietnam, in addition to the above contents, the draft report on verification results must clearly state the violation contents, responsibilities and causes of violations of the previous denunciation settlement (if any); propose handling of agencies, units and individuals that have violated the law in the previous process of denunciation settlement.
