On November 27, 2020, the Government of Vietnam issued the Decree No. 138/2020/NĐ-CP of the Government of Vietnam on recruitment, employment and management of officials.
According to Article 13 of the Decree No. 138/2020/NĐ-CP of Vietnam’s Government, agencies competent to recruit officials must post recruitment notices publicly at least once on one of the following mass media: printed newspapers, electronic newspapers, audio and video newspapers; and at the same time post on the website or portal and publicly post it at the office of the agency competent to recruit. The content of the recruitment notice includes:
- Number of officials to be recruited for each job position;
- Number of job positions performing the recruitment and selection examination;
- Criteria and conditions for applying for admission;
- Time limit, address and place to receive the application form, mobile or fixed phone number of the individual or department assigned to receive the application form;
- Form and content of entrance examination and admission; time and place of the entrance exam.
Besides, the change in the content of the recruitment notice can only be made before the opening of the recruitment period and must be made public according to the above regulations. Candidates applying for admission shall submit the application form (made according to Form No. 01 issued together with this Decree) at the place of receiving the application form or send it by post or via the website or portal of the competent recruitment agency. The time limit for receiving the application form is 30 days from the date the recruitment announcement is made public on the mass media; on the website or the portal of the competent recruitment agency.
