Vietnam: Those who directly serve in the election will be supported with 500,000 VND/month for mobile phone charges

According to Clause 6 Article 3 of the Circular No. 102/2020/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam, expenses to support mobile phone charges for those who directly serve during the election include the following:

* Support level 500,000 VND/person/month for:

- The President and Vice-President of the National Election Council; Heads of Sub-committees of the National Election Council;

- Members of the National Election Council; Deputy Heads of Sub-Committees, members of Sub-Committees; Chief and Deputy Chief of Office of National Election Council; standing in the assisting group for the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; permanently assisting the Minister of Home Affairs;

- Members of the Office of the National Election Council.

* In case of necessity, the Chief of Office of the National Election Council, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and the Minister of Home Affairs shall decide on the list of officials participating in the election service who are entitled to support for mobile phone charges, with the maximum support level not exceeding 300,000 VND/person/month;

* The period of enjoying mobile phone charge support is calculated according to the actual time for election work, from the time of Resolution No. 118/2020/QH14 dated June 19, 2020 of the National Assembly of Vietnam on the establishment of the National Election Commission and Resolution No. 04/2020/HDBCQG dated September 16, 2020 of the National Election Commission are valid until the National Election Commission finishes its duties.
