Vietnam: The winning bid documents must be preserved for 20 years after the completion of the project

This is an important provision stipulated in Circular 46/2016/TT-BTNMT of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam regulating the retention period of specialized resources and environmental files and documents.

Specifically, the retention period for records and documents related to land programs, projects, and proposals is stipulated in Circular 46/2016/TT-BTNMT of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam as follows:

1. Project description records regarding land Permanent
2. Records and documents regarding appraisal, approval of plans, projects, and target programs within the scope of land management Permanent
3. Results and products of land management plans, projects, and programs Permanent
4. Records and documents on supervision, inspection, and acceptance of land-related works and products 20 years
5. Records and documents on appraisal of settlement records of land-related works and products 20 years
6. Records related to the contractor selection process for land projects  
6.1 Unsuccessful bid records 05 years
6.2 Successful bid records 20 years after the completion of work
7. Survey and investigation forms for land projects and programs 05 years from the end of the program or project.
