Vietnam: The provincial-level competition for teachers in charge of excellent teams is organized once every 4 years

According to Article 3 of the Regulations on the Excellent Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization Team Leader Teachers’ Contest issued with Circular 52/2012/TT-BGDDT, the levels of the contest organization include:

- The district-level contest is held every 2 years;

- The provincial-level contest is held every 4 years;

- The national-level excellent team leader teachers' festival is held every 5 years.

Regarding the number of teachers participating in the contest:

- The number of team leader teachers participating in the contest is decided by the head of the education and training department (for district level), the director of the education and training department (for provincial level) based on the actual situation of the locality.

- The number of team leader teachers participating in the national-level excellent team leader teachers' festival is decided by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Regarding the time of the contest organization: Decided by the head of the education and training department, the director of the education and training department, and the president of the same-level team council in consensus, and determined in the activity plan deployed from the beginning of the school year;

Regarding the location of the excellent team leader teachers' contest: Decided by the head of the education and training department (for district level), the director of the education and training department (for provincial level). Depending on geographical conditions and the number of team leader teachers participating, the contest may be divided into various test sites or clusters.

The national-level excellent team leader teachers' festival will have separate plans and organizational regulations.
