Vietnam: The educational institution issued with the education quality assessment certificate shall make a report after 2.5 years from the date on which the education quality assessment certificate is issued

According to Article 29 of the Regulation on the process and frequency of education quality assessment of universities, colleges, and vocational high schools enclosed with Circular No. 62/2012/TT-BGDĐT of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, responsibility of the educational institution issued with the education quality assessment certificate is specified as follows:

- Announce the education quality assessment certificate as prescribed in Point b Clause 1 Article 6 of this Regulation.

- Send reports to the Ministry of Education and Training and the governing body of the results of the education quality assessment, the plan for improving and enhancing the education quality after being issued with the education quality assessment certificate.

- Sustain and develop the conditions for education quality assurance. Implement the recommendations made by the education quality assessment panel about the rectification of the weaknesses (if any) and the improvement of the education quality.

- Sustain and improve the certified education quality assessment result during the validity period of the education quality assessment certificate. If the quality is not sustained consistently with the certified result, depending on the nature and seriousness of the violations, the educational institution shall be warned or have the education quality assessment certificate revoked.

- Make and send a mid-term report to the Ministry of Education and Training, the governing body, and the education quality assessment organization after 2.5 years from the date on which the education quality assessment certificate is issued.
