Vietnam: Teacher training institutions at intermediate and college level must publish contents of the course

According to Article 9 of Circular No. 24/2019/TT-BGDĐT of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, publishing activities in teacher training at intermediate and college level is a mandatory requirement for training institutions, to be specific:

- 03 (three) months before the start of the course, the teacher training institution must publicize the public content on its website, including: Commitment to educational quality and practical education quality; objectives and output standards of each training branch corresponding to each training level; quality assurance conditions; education program; maximum time to complete the training program for each industry, each specific training level; training regulations; regulations on recognition of the conversion value of learning results and the amount of knowledge and skills exempted for subjects and modules of learners; training plan for the course, academic year; regulations on pedagogical practice and internship; thematics, graduation theses; defense of thematics, graduation theses; graduation exam time; rights and obligations of lecturers; rights and obligations of learners and related organizations and individuals.

- At least 01 (one) month before the start of the semester, the teacher training institution must publicly announce the public content on its website, including:

+ Training plan for the semester; a list of required and elective subjects and modules expected to be taken; detailed outline, prerequisites, number of tests, exam format, exam rules, exam time at the end of the module; textbooks or materials used for each specific subject or module;

+ Information about the scientific background of each lecturer participating in teaching subjects and modules in that semester.

- In addition to publicizing training in items 1 and 2 above, the teacher training institution must publicize the training-related contents of the teacher training institution in accordance with current regulations on public implementation for educational institutions of the national education system promulgated by the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam.
