Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH issued by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs of Vietnam on the minimum knowledge volume and required competencies for graduates from intermediate (Level 4 of VQF) and college (Level 5 of VQF) levels in agriculture, forestry, fisheries, and veterinary will come into effect from February 10, 2019.

According to the regulation on the minimum knowledge volume and required competencies for graduates from intermediate and college levels in Agriculture – forestry industry extension issued together with Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, Agriculture – forestry industry extension, Level 4 of VQFin Vietnam is a profession that involves organizing the implementation of propaganda, dissemination of knowledge, training, coach and advising, and supporting farmers to promote the development of agriculture, forestry, and fishery production, meeting the requirements of level 4 in the Vietnam National Qualifications Framework.
Graduates will have the ability to perform the following main tasks: Disseminate information on the policies and viewpoints of the Communist Party of Vietnam, as well as the policies and laws of the State in agricultural and forestry production to the public; disseminate techniques, and scientific and technological advancements, and exemplary models in agricultural, forestry, and fishery production and business; provide training and coaching to farmers on production skills and the organization and management of agricultural, forestry, and fishery production and business; implement demonstration models and expand advanced scientific and technological models that are suitable for each locality, the needs of producers and industry orientation, and models that practice production associated with product consumption; provide advice on production and rural agricultural services.
The minimum amount of knowledge is 1400 hours (equivalent to 50 credits).
