Vietnam: Required Level of Autonomy of graduates of College training program in medical laboratory engineering

Pursuant to the Regulation on the minimum volume of knowledge and the competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from the intermediate level, college level in the field of medical laboratory engineering, issued together with Circular 54/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum level of autonomy and responsibility to be achieved after graduating from the college level in medical laboratory engineering in Vietnam is as follows:

- Work independently or in groups, solving complex tasks and problems in changing working conditions;

- Guide and supervise team members, group members, or internship students in performing specified professional tasks;

- Be responsible for their own work results before the team and superiors;

- Accurately assess the quality of work after completion and the performance results of team members;

- Comply with technical testing procedures, quality assurance processes; regulations on labor safety, biological safety, usage, and maintenance of facilities and equipment;

- Adhere to professional ethics, and practice in accordance with lawful regulations;

- Create a safe and effective working environment;

- Be cautious, meticulous, accurate, scientific, and proper when performing duties.
