Vietnamese enterprises must comply with regulations on report on bringing Vietnamese workers abroad for employment as stipulated in the Draft Law on Vietnamese guest workers (amended).

According to Article 33 of the Draft Law on Vietnamese guest workers 2020, the specific time for sending and content of the report on bringing Vietnamese guest workers for employment are stipulated as follows:
- No later than 15 working days before bringing Vietnamese guest workers for employment, Vietnamese enterprises awarded with contracts or receiving contracts for overseas construction and projects must submit a plan as prescribed in Clause 2 of this Article along with a copy of the awarded contract to the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs.
- The content of the plan as prescribed in Clause 1 of this Article includes: the employment and management of Vietnamese guest workers (clearly stating the number of workers sent, gender, industry, occupation, working period, working hours, rest hours, salary, living conditions, health examination and treatment policies, social insurance, and other related policies); bringing Vietnamese guest workers to return in cases of force majeure.
- Within 6 working days from the date of receiving the plan for bringing Vietnamese guest workers for employment, if the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs does not have any written feedback, the enterprise may proceed to bring Vietnamese guest workers to work.
- No later than 15 working days from the date of bringing Vietnamese guest workers for employment, the enterprise must report the list of Vietnamese guest workers sent abroad at the overseas construction or project site to the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs and the Vietnamese diplomatic missions and consular offices in the country where the workers are working.
Note: Enterprises need to pay attention to the time for sending and the content of the report on bringing Vietnamese guest workers for employment to comply with legal regulations.
