Vietnam: Public property of people's armed forces

According to Article 64 of the Law on Management and Use of Public Property 2017 of Vietnam, public property of people's armed forces includes:

- Special-purpose property:

+ Weapons, military equipment, explosives, special support instruments; vehicles, and technical professional equipment;

+ Land and construction works pertaining to land, including: combat works, strategic defense works; works to ensure security operations; works serving research, fabrication, manufacture, repair, testing of weapons, important military equipment and special support instruments.

- Single-purpose property:

+ Land, buildings and other property pertaining to land that belongs to camps, headquarters buildings, warehouses, academies, national security training centers, shooting fields, field sites, training grounds and detention facilities of people's armed forces;

+ Vehicles used for national security purposes;

+ Other support instruments apart from special support instruments; other property with special designed for operation of people’s armed forces.

- Property used for management is the property that is used for the purposes of operation, training and education in people’s armed forces, including:

+ Land, buildings and other property pertaining to land that belongs to schools, except for academies, national security training centers; health facilities, nursing homes; guest houses, official-duty houses; stadiums, gymnasiums and other facilities that are not included in campuses or headquarters buildings of people's armed forces;

+ Commander cars, cars serving general business and other means of transport;

+ Machines and equipment;

+ Other property.
