Vietnam: Preparation for the recruitment and selection exam for officials and public employees

According to Article 12 of the Regulation issued together with the Circular No. 6/2020/TT-BNV of the Ministry of Home Affairs of Vietnam, preparation for the recruitment and selection exam for officials and public employees is prescribed as follows:

1. At least 05 working days before the date of organization of the exam round, exam section, exam subject, the Council shall send a notice to summon candidates for examination or consideration. The content of the summons notice clearly states the time and place for conducting examination procedures and collecting exam fees; time and location of the review (if any); time and place of the exam; the form of the exam, the time of organizing the exam rounds, the test sections, the exam subjects and other related contents.

2. At least 01 working day before the opening day, the Council is responsible for posting the list of candidates according to the registration number, according to the examination room, the map of the location of the examination rooms, the rules, the form and the time of the examination for each test part and subject at the venue.

3. At least 01 working day before the opening day, the member cum secretary of the Council must complete the preparation for the exam as follows:

- The list to call candidates into the examination room; the list for candidates to sign when submitting the exam;

- Types of minutes, including: Minutes of handing over and receiving exam papers from the Council for the Team to make copies of the exam questions, from the Team to make copies of the exam questions for the Examination Board, from the Head of the Examination Board to the examiners of the examination room; a record confirming the status of the test bag before cutting the test bag to distribute the exam questions; minutes of handling violations of exam rules and regulations; minutes of test delivery and receipt and other types of minutes in service of the recruitment of officials and public employees, examinations for promotion of officials ranks, promotion of public employees' professional titles;

- Cards of members of the Council, the Examination Board, the examination service department. Cards of the President, Vice-Chairman, Councilmember, Head of the examination committee, fully printed with full name and title. Cards of other members only print titles.
