Officials and public employees, when considered for appointment to the positions of Director, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, must meet all the standards stipulated in Circular 10/2019/TT-BGDDT of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam.

However, for women aged 50 and above and men aged 55 and above who are currently holding the positions of Director, Deputy Director, the requirements outlined in this Circular need not be met.

Specifically, for women Directors, Deputy Directors under the age of 50 or men Directors, Deputy Directors under the age of 55 who do not meet all the standards, they must ensure full compliance with the standards stipulated in Circular 10 during their term of appointment.

Based on the standards prescribed in this document, the District People's Committee, the Chairman of the District People's Committee, and the Department of Education and Training shall implement the planning, training, fostering, appointment, reappointment, and dismissal of the positions of Director and Deputy Director.
