This is a notable content in Circular 62/2017/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam stipulating the rates of collection, policies for collection, payment, management, and use of the fee for confirming environmental protection eligibility in importing scrap as production materials.
Specifically, Circular 62 stipulates that when reissuing a valid certificate that has been lost or damaged, no fee will be charged. The fee rates in other cases are as follows:
- Organizations or individuals entrusted with the import that have storage facilities: 20 million VND/application.
- Organizations or individuals entrusted with the import that do not have storage facilities: 12 million VND/application.
- Certificate issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment
- Certificate issued by the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (first-time issuance or reissuance)
