Vietnam: List of jobs with strict requirements on occupational safety and hygiene

Issued together with Circular No. 02/2017/TT-BQP of the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam is the List of jobs with strict requirements on occupational safety and hygiene, specifically as follows:

- Assembling, operating, maintaining, repairing, dismantling, inspecting and supervising the operation of machines and equipment with strict requirements on occupational safety and hygiene.

- Producing, using, preserving and transporting dangerous and toxic chemicals.

- Installing, repairing and operating electrical systems and power plants; specializes in the installation, repair and maintenance of machines and electrical equipment.

- Producing, using, preserving, repairing, transporting, experimenting, chemical testing, firing test, handling explosives and explosive means, ammunition. Production, use, preservation, repair, testing of guns, weapons, etc.

- Assembling, operating, maintaining, repairing, dismantling, inspecting, monitoring the operation of excavators, bulldozers, scrapers, mixers, concrete compactors, foundation compactors, rollers, pile drivers, pile presses, bored pile drilling, machine hammer, ship or dredger, pump; sprayer or pump mortar, concrete.

- Assembling, operating, repairing, maintaining, cleaning all kinds of grinding machines, sawing, sawing, cutting, tearing, chopping, punching, stamping, chiseling, hammering, shaping, loading, unloading, crushing, grinding, mixing, rolling, centrifugation, drying, sieving, screening, pressing, spinning, coating, coiling, peeling, bagging, polishing, conveyor belt, conveyor, water gun, pneumatic gun; industrial printer.

- Making molds, smelting, rolling, casting, cleaning, plating, polishing metals; the work of smelting ore, coking; doing jobs in the area of rotary kilns producing cement, kilns or chambers for burning refractory materials, building materials, coking, smelting earth and lamps; operating, repairing, inspecting, monitoring, supplying, producing, and disposing of incinerators, kilns and furnaces.

- Sandblasting, rust removal, knocking, scraping, painting, welding.

- Leverage, drilling, shoveling, digging pits, deep holes, mining.

- Working at a height of 2 meters or more from the working ground, on mobile working platforms, dangerous climbing places, on rivers, in the sea, diving underwater.

- Operating, repairing and maintaining machines and equipment in tunnels and tunnels.
