Vietnam: Level of autonomy and responsibility for graduates of Mould fabrication, Level 5 of VQF

On December 28, 2018, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam issued Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH on the minimum knowledge volume and required competencies for graduates from intermediate (Level 4 of VQF) and college (Level 5 of VQF) levels in mechanical engineering sectors.

According to the regulation on the minimum knowledge volume and required competencies for graduates from intermediate and college levels in Mould fabrication issued together with Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the basic level of autonomy and responsibility for graduates of Mould fabrication, Level 5 of VQF in Vietnam are as follows:

- Possess ethical qualities, professional demeanor, and civic responsibility, always striving to complete tasks: proactively grasp information about the workplace: scale, equipment, workshops, rules, and regulations; proactively determine the purpose, requirements, products, and rules of the job;

- Regarding responsibility, ethics, professional demeanor, and service attitude: have proper professional motivation, diligence, creativity in work, awareness of labor discipline, and respect for the rules of the agency or enterprise;

- Be able to update knowledge and be creative at work: capable of adapting to different working environments (domestic enterprises and foreign enterprises);

- Taking responsibility for the results of personal and group work before the leadership of agencies, organizations, and enterprises;

- Be able to solve complex issues in changing working conditions;

- Provide minimum guidance and supervise subordinates to perform designated tasks;

- Evaluate the quality of products after completing the group's performance results.
