According to the regulation on the minimum knowledge volume and required competencies for graduates from intermediate and college levels in mechanical equipment assembly issued together with Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, graduates of Mechanical equipment assembly, Level 5 of VQF in Vietnam are equipped with the necessary competencies to meet the job requirements in the field, including:

- Lifting and transporting mechanical equipment;

- Machining jig assemblies for installation support;

- Assembling, disassembling, and maintaining machine assemblies;

- Installing pumps;

- Installing conveyor belts;

- Installing ventilation systems;

- Installing industrial building frames;

- Installing fuel crushers;

- Installing mechanical processing machines;

- Organizing and managing installation work.

Additionally, the minimum knowledge volume and required competencies for graduates of Mechanical equipment assembly, Level 5 of VQF in Vietnam can further develop to higher levels.

Graduates have the competency for self-study and self-updating of scientific and technological advancements within the scope of the discipline to enhance their level or pursue bridging programs to higher levels within the group of disciplines, or in the same training field.
