According to the regulation on the minimum knowledge volume and required competencies for graduates from intermediate and college levels in Mould fabrication issued together with Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, Mould fabrication, Level 5 of VQF in Vietnam is a profession that involves designing and machining metal parts by processing mold parts according to the technical requirements of drawings on machine tools and computer numerical control (CNC) machines, ensuring quality, productivity, and safety in diverse production environments of all scales, meeting requirements Level 5 of the Vietnam National Qualification Framework.
Mould fabrication requires extremely high precision, working with high-speed machine tools, posing many risks of safety, injury, and electrical hazards. Practitioners must have professional knowledge, skills, good political qualities, professional ethics, and a sense of serving the people.
Minimum knowledge volume: 2,310 hours (equivalent to 82 credits).
