This is a notable content of the Decree No. 03/2017/NĐ-CP on casino business in Vietnam.
Specifically, according to Article 51 of the Decree No. 03/2017/NĐ-CP of Vietnam’s Government, a warning shall be imposed on any person committing any of the following violations:
- Failure to comply with the game rules announced by the enterprise;
- Failure to comply with the casino’s rules announced by the enterprise;
- Failure to comply with the internal rules announced by the enterprise.
Besides, there are other fines for violations against regulations on obligations of gamblers such as: a fine of from VND 20,000,000 to VND 30,000,000 shall be imposed on any person who causes the disturbance and disorder at a casino; a fine of from VND 90,000,000 to VND 100,000,000 shall be imposed on any person who cheats while playing games at a casino.
Concurrently, forcible transfer of illegal benefits from the administrative violations of cheating while playing games at a casino to the state budget.
Moreover, this Decree also stipulates fines for violations against regulations on the surveillance and management of persons permitted to enter and/or leave a casino as follows:
- A fine of from VND 90,000,000 to VND 100,000,000 shall be imposed on the failure to keep a monitoring book or issue an e-card for controlling the persons permitted to enter and/or leave a casino.
- A fine of from VND 180,000,000 to VND 200,000,000 shall be imposed on any enterprise that permits a person to enter and/or leave a casino in contravention of law.
