Vietnam: Ho Chi Minh City Social Security announces the list of postal offices providing health insurance cards

According to Announcement 2817/BHXH-KHTC of Ho Chi Minh City Social Security, retirees, people with loss of working capacity, people suffering from occupational accident or disease, and commune/ward-level officials will be issued health insurance cards under a new code valid from January 01, 2017 to the end of January 2017.

The Ho Chi Minh City Social Security will issue the above-mentioned policies to the beneficiaries (both those receiving pensions in cash and those receiving them via ATM cards) along with the salary period of January 2017 at the postal offices for monthly pension payments. Note: Beneficiaries receiving money through the card account should bring photo identification.

After the pension payment date, if beneficiaries have not received the new-coded health insurance card, they should go to the postal offices (as listed below) to receive it:
