This content is mentioned in Circular No. 14/2014/TT-BQP of the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam on the rights and responsibilities of the trade union in representing and protecting the legitimate and rights and interests of members, employees, workers, and participating in the management of agencies, units, and enterprises in the military.
Specifically, Circular No. 14/2014/TT-BQP of the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam stipulates that grassroots trade unions in military enterprises are responsible for representing the collective of workers and individual workers in participating in litigation in labor, administrative, and bankruptcy cases related to the following matters:
- Representing the collective of workers in participating in litigation in labor, administrative, and bankruptcy cases as prescribed by law to protect the legitimate and just rights and interests of the collective of workers;
- Representing individual workers in participating in litigation if authorized by the worker to protect their legitimate and just rights and interests in labor, administrative, and bankruptcy cases as prescribed by law.
Moreover, trade unions must organize legal counseling activities for workers according to the provisions of the Labor Code, Inspection Law, Trade Union Law, Social Insurance Law, Health Insurance Law, Unemployment Insurance Law, and other relevant regulations regarding the legitimate and just rights and interests of workers through activities at the grassroots trade union.
