Vietnam: Forms of reward for Mediators with outstanding achievements

According to Article 15 of the Circular No. 04/2020/TT-TANDTC of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court of Vietnam, mediators with outstanding achievements in the course of performing their duties shall be considered and rewarded in the following forms:

- Commemorative medal “To the Court”;

- Diploma of Merit of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court;

- Certificates of Merit of the Chief Justice of the provincial People's Court.

In which:

- Commemorative medal “To the Court”: A mediator who has worked in mediation and dialogue at the Court for a full 06 years or more shall be awarded the Commemorative medal “To the Court” by the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court.

- Diploma of Merit of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court: A mediator shall be considered and awarded Diploma of Merit of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court in the following cases:

+ Having successfully completed the work of mediation and dialogue for 02 consecutive years, awarded Certificates of Merit by the Chief Justice of the provincial People's Court.

+ Having excellent achievements in performing tasks, proposed by the Chief Justice of the provincial People's Court.

- Certificates of Merit of the Chief Justice of the provincial People's Court: A mediator shall be awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Chief Justice of the provincial People's Court in the following cases:

+ Having the number of "successful mediation and dialogue" cases in accordance with the Law on Mediation and Dialogue at Court of Vietnam reaches 70% or more of the total number of assigned cases;

+ Having excellent achievements in performing tasks, proposed by the Chief Justice of the district-level People's Court.

Procedures and dossiers of request for consideration and commendation of titles for mediators shall comply with the provisions of the Law on Emulation and Commendation of Vietnam, documents on emulation and commendation work of the People's Court and the Regulations on awarding the Commemorative medal “To the Court”.
