This is an important content of Decree No. 99/2020/ND-CP of Vietnam’s Government on penalties for administrative violations against regulations on petroleum, and petrol, oil and gas trading, effective from October 11, 2020.
Specifically, according to Article 48 of Decree No. 99/2020/ND-CP of Vietnam’s Government, penalties for violations against regulations on filling gas into means of transport are specified as follows:
1. A fine ranging from VND 10,000,000 to VND 20,000,000 shall be imposed for failure to fully and clearly write the signboard or the logo of a gas filling station for means of transport in accordance with regulations.
2. A fine ranging from VND 20,000,000 to VND 40,000,000 shall be imposed for any of the following violations:
- Failure to provide or hire an organize to provide training in safety techniques to employees at the gas filling station for means of transport as prescribed;
- Employing the manager or staff who has not been trained in safety techniques as prescribed to work at the gas filling station for means of transport;
- Failure to develop a safety management program, a risk assessment report and an emergency response plan as prescribed.
3. A fine ranging from VND 40,000,000 to VND 60,000,000 shall be imposed for failure to comply with regulations on safety management of gas filling stations for means of transport in accordance with regulations.
4. A fine ranging from VND 60,000,000 to VND 100,000,000 shall be imposed for any of the following violations:
- Filling LPG into means of transport not running on LPG;
- Filling LNG into means of transport not running on LNG;
- Filling CNG into means of transport not running on CNG.
