Vietnam: Ensuring information security of the province's information and telecommunications application radio system

According to Circular No. 39/2020/TT-BTTTT of the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam, the assurance of information security is regulated as follows:

1. Broadcasting systems applying information - telecommunications technology of central-affiliated provinces and cities must ensure information security according to the provisions on the security of information systems by classification specified in Decree No. 85/2016/NĐ-CP dated July 01, 2016 of Vietnam’s Government on the security of information systems by classification; Circular No. 03/2017/TT-BTTTT dated April 24, 2017 of the Minister of Information and Communications of Vietnam on guidelines for the Decree No. 85/2016/NĐ-CP dated July 01, 2016 of Vietnam’s Government on the security of information systems by classification.

2. Broadcasting systems applying information and telecommunications technology of central-affiliated provinces and cities must have plans to ensure information security meeting at least the information system class 2 security proposals specified in Circular No. 03/2017/TT-BTTTT dated April 24, 2017 of the Minister of Information and Communications of Vietnam on guidelines for the Decree No. 85/2016/NĐ-CP dated July 01, 2016 of Vietnam’s Government on the security of information systems by classification and National standard TCVN 11930:2017 on basic information technology - security techniques requirements for security of information systems by classification.

Note: Broadcasting systems applying information technology - telecommunications of central-affiliated provinces and cities must have an information safety monitoring plan that meets the provisions of Circular No. 31/2017/TT-BTTTT dated November 15, 2017 of the Minister of Information and Communications of Vietnam on surveillance of information system security.
