The Law on Electricity 2004 of Vietnam was promulgated on December 03, 2004. Organizations, individuals shall be granted electricity activity licenses when meeting the conditions prescribed by law. However, this Law also stipulates cases where electricity activity licenses shall be revoked.
Specifically, according to Article 37 of the Law on Electricity 2004 of Vietnam, organizations and individuals shall have their electricity activity licenses withdrawn in the following cases:
One, failing to deploy activities six months after being granted the electricity activity on licenses;
Two, failing to ensure electricity activity conditions as provided for by this Law;
Three, failing to comply with the contents prescribed in the electricity activity licenses;
Four, leasing, lending or modifying without permission their electricity activity licenses.
