The duties and powers of the Professional Secondary Curriculum Editing Committee are specified in Circular 43/2010/TT-BGDDT of the Minsitry of Education and Training of Vietnam on Regulations regarding the editing, selection, assessment, approval, and use of professional secondary curricula.
Duties and powers of the Editorial Committee for Intermediate Professional Curriculum (Illustration)
Article 6 of Circular 43/2010/TT-BGDDT of the Minsitry of Education and Training of Vietnam stipulates the duties and powers of the Editorial Committee for Intermediate Professional Curriculum as follows:
- Duties and Powers of the Chief Editor:
- Organize the compilation of the curriculum according to the approved outline by the principal; ensure the quality, compilation progress, and general requirements of the curriculum;
- Propose to the school principal to replace or supplement members of the Editorial Committee when deemed necessary;
- Report to the Head of Department, the school principal on issues related to the compilation of the curriculum when requested or deemed necessary;
- Absorb and edit the draft curriculum content according to the concluding opinions of the Curriculum Appraisal Committee;
- Ensure the use of allocated funds related to the curriculum compilation according to current state regulations;
- Entitled to royalties, copyrights, and other policies according to current regulations.
- Duties and Powers of the Editorial Committee Members:
- Under the assignment and professional guidance of the Chief Editor during the curriculum compilation process;
- Ensure the quality, compilation progress, and general requirements of the curriculum in the assigned content section;
- Entitled to royalties, copyrights, and other policies according to current regulations.
- In case the curriculum compilation is done by an individual, the duties and powers of the individual are stipulated in points a, c, d, dd, e of clause 1 of this article.
