From July 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023, the initial registration fee rate for motor vehicles, trailers or semi-trailers towed by motor vehicles, or equivalences manufactured and assembled domestically in Vietnam will be 50% of the fee prescribed in Decree 10/2022/ND-CP; the current Resolutions of the People's Councils or current Decisions of the People’s Committees of the provinces and centrally-run cities regarding local registration fee rates and any amending, supplementing, or replacing documents (if any).

From January 1, 2024, onward, the registration fee rate will follow the fee rate prescribed in the current Decree 10/2022/ND-CP; the current Resolutions of the People's Councils or current Decisions of the People’s Committees of the provinces and centrally-run cities regarding local registration fee rates and any amending, supplementing, or replacing documents (if any).

Decree 10/2022/ND-CP is effective from July 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023.
