This is a notable content in Decree 90/2012/ND-CP of the Government of Vietnam regulating the organization and operation of inspectorates in the internal affairs sector, issued on November 5, 2012.
Vietnam: Deadline for preparing and approving the annual inspection plan in the internal affairs sector (Illustrative image)
Under Article 25 of Decree 90/2012/ND-CP stipulates preparing and approving the annual inspection plan in the internal affairs sector in Vietnam:
- No later than October 30 each year, the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Home Affairs shall guide the agencies assigned to perform specialized inspection functions to develop specialized inspection plans and programs. The agencies assigned to perform specialized inspection functions shall send the specialized inspection plans and programs to the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Home Affairs no later than November 5 each year.
- No later than November 15 each year, the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Home Affairs shall submit its inspection plan to the Minister of Home Affairs for approval. The Minister of Home Affairs shall consider and approve the inspection plan no later than November 25 each year.
- No later than December 5 each year, the Inspectorate of the Department of Home Affairs shall submit its inspection plan to the Director of the Department of Home Affairs for approval. The Director of the Department of Home Affairs shall consider and approve the inspection plan no later than December 15 each year.
Note: When adjustment to the approved inspection plan is required, it is required to report to the Head of the competent authority for approval. The inspection plan according to the above regulations shall be sent to the inspected subjects and related agencies and organizations.
