On April 04, 2016, the Vietnam Ministry of Transport promulgated Circular 04/2016/TT-BGTVT stipulating the converted coordinates for the boundary of seaport waters within the Hau River estuary.

Under Circular 04, the boundary of seaport waters within the Hau River estuary in Vietnam is determined on theI-300-08 nautical chart produced in 1978 by the Vietnam People's Navy Force and is converted to the corresponding coordinate system as follows:
