Vietnam: Contents of listing the selling price of public property

On December 29, 2017, the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam issued Circular No. 144/2017/TT-BTC guiding Decree No. 151/2017/ND-CP of Vietnam’s Government elaborating the Law on Management and Use of Public Property.

According to Circular No. 144/2017/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam, price listing information and property information on the Electronic trading system for public property:

- Name, address, phone number of agencies assigned to organize selling of property;

- Name, type, quantity, quality, and sale price of property together with at least 2 photos of the property;

- Advance payment and method of submitting advance payment;

- Location and time of property preview;

- Regulations on individuals not allowed to purchase the property;

- Registration and advance deadline;

- Time for selecting individuals obtaining the right to purchase property;

- Other necessary information pertaining to the property requested by agencies assigned to organize selling of property to be disclosed and listed.
