On July 26, 2013, the Minister of Education and Training of Vietnam promulgated Circular 30/2013/TT-BGDDT on the Curriculum for the unit of study on responses to climate change in the intermediate-level programs in the Technical Technology and the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries.

Circular 30/2013/TT-BGDDT stipulates the content of the unit of study on responses to climate change in Vietnam as follows:
+ Duration: 30 lessons (2 credits).
+ Training time: Based on the training objectives and specific characteristics of each training major, the Principal/Head of the training institution decides the training time.
+ Position of the unit of study: The unit of study on responses to climate change is an optional unit of study belonging to the common unit of study block in the intermediate-level program.
+ Objectives of the unit of study: After completing the unit of study on responses to climate change, learners will be able to:
In terms of Knowledge:
- Present basic concepts about weather, climate, greenhouse gases, greenhouse effect, climate change, and sea level rise;
- Identify the current situation, causes, and consequences of climate change; manifestations of climate change, extreme weather phenomena, and global warming;
- Explain the nature, impact, and basic effects of climate change on activities related to energy, industry, transportation, and construction;
- Present measures to respond to climate change in energy use and exploitation, industrial production, and transportation, construction.
In terms of Skills:
- Have the ability to collect information and documents about climate change and response measures of the central and local authorities.
- Apply the learned knowledge to participate in the efficient use of raw materials, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in energy use activities, industrial production activities, transportation, and construction.
In terms of Attitude:
- Have correct awareness and behavior in responding to climate change, rational use of natural resources, living in harmony and friendliness with the environment.
- Actively participate and comply correctly with the policies of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the State, the regulations of the school, and the locality in response to climate change.
