This is a notable content of Circular No. 50/2018/TT-BLDTBXH of the Ministry of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam regulating the minimum knowledge requirements and competency that learners must achieve upon graduation from intermediate and college levels in the fields of mining engineering and other technical fields.
College-level majoring in crane operation need to have the following skills (Illustration)
Specifically, Circular 50/2018/TT-BLDTBXH specifies that learners after graduating from the college-level crane operation major need to have the following skills:
Read and interpret construction documents;
Reference relevant technical documents in the crane and lifting equipment operation specialty;
Prepare and estimate tools, materials, raw materials, fuel, and site conditions before crane and lifting equipment operation;
Proficiently use various equipment during the inspection and maintenance process;
Inspect, maintain, and repair common damages on various cranes and lifting equipment according to proper procedures, ensuring safety for people and equipment;
Proficiently operate various cranes and lifting equipment according to proper procedures, ensuring safety for people and equipment;
Develop and select construction plans and construction equipment;
Implement safety and environmental sanitation measures during construction and handle situations when accidents occur;
Organize and lead teams or groups and mentor less skilled workers;
Use basic information technology as required; utilize, handle, and apply information technology in professional tasks in their field;
Use basic foreign language skills, reaching level 2/6 in the Vietnamese Foreign Language Proficiency Framework; apply foreign languages in professional tasks in their field.
Additionally, the competency and skill requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from the college-level crane operation major can continue to develop at higher levels. Graduates will have the capability for self-learning, staying updated with scientific and technological advancements within their field to enhance their level or pursue higher education in related fields or within the same training sector.
