Vietnam: Circular No. 92/2020/TT-BCA allows patients and patients’ family members to comment on the following contents

According to Article 13 of the Circular No. 92/2020/TT-BCA of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, patients and their family members can monitor and comment on the following contents:

- The implementation of medical regimes and policies related to the legitimate rights and interests of the patient; medical examination and treatment regimes and policies according to regulations of the State and the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam.

- The observance of rules and regulations on medical examination and treatment of medical establishments.

- The spirit and service attitude of medical officials, proposing ideas to contribute to encouraging the spirit, enthusiastic service attitude and responsibility in medical examination and treatment of medical officials; exchange and coordinate with medical officials in caring for and nurturing patients.

- The implementation of environmental sanitation, ensuring security and order at the place of medical examination and treatment.

- Settlement, complaints, denunciations and results of settlement, complaints and denunciations of patients and their family members.

Forms of supervision and participation of patients and their family members:

- Give opinions and feedback directly to medical officials in departments, wards, medical examination and treatment facilities.

- Report to the leaders of medical facilities.

- Send written comments to the comment box.

- Via phone, hotline, email, comment box.

- Feedback through the patient's activities.

- Via the website of the medical facility (if any).

- Other suitable forms.
