These are chopping seals at the upper left corner of the document and chopping seals spanning all pages of the document. Additionally, there are other types of chopping seals such as signature seals, duplicate seals, construction completion seals, etc. However, this article will only focus on distinguishing between chopping seals at the upper left corner document and chopping seals spanning all pages of the document. To be specific:

Definition	A seal chopped at the upper left corner: chopping seal on the first page, which covers part of the name of the agency, organization, or the name of the appendix attached to the main document.
