According to the regulation on the minimum knowledge volume and required competencies for graduates from intermediate and college levels in Rubber product manufacturing technology issued together with Circular 46/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the basic skills required for graduates of Rubber product manufacturing technology, Level 4 of VQF are Vietnam is as follows:

- Calculate and mix chemicals used in rubber product manufacturing technology;

- Utilize various tools and equipment used in the manufacturing of rubber products;

- Operate the manufacturing process of various rubber products: belts; conveyors; rubber pipes; tires, rubber tubes; various gaskets, seals, and rubber parts; mattresses, rubber foam sheets; various thin films and rubber adhesives…;

- Classify various types of rubber products;

- Perform inspection, cleaning, and maintenance processes for manufacturing tools and equipment, and assess the quality of rubber products;

- Handle certain incidents that occur during the manufacturing and storage of rubber products;

- Participate in technical improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality;

- Utilize basic information technology as per regulations; apply information technology in several specialized tasks of the profession;

- Utilize basic foreign language skills, achieving level 1/6 in Vietnam's foreign language competency framework; apply foreign languages in some specialized tasks of the profession.
