Vietnam: Basic level of autonomy and responsibility required for graduates of Veterinary service, Level 5 of VQF

On February 10, 2019, Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH on the minimum knowledge volume and required competencies for graduates from intermediate (Level 4 of VQF) and college (Level 5 of VQF) levels in agriculture, forestry, fisheries, and veterinary in Vietnam will come into force.

According to the regulation on the minimum knowledge volume and required competencies for graduates from intermediate and college levels in Veterinary service issued together with Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the basic level of autonomy and responsibility required for graduates of Veterinary service, Level 5 of in Vietnam are as follows:

- Possess good moral qualities and a proper understanding of the profession, have a cooperative attitude with colleagues, respect the law, and comply with workplace regulations;

- Be honest and highly disciplined, capable of working independently, ready to undertake assigned tasks, and produce high-quality and productive labor;

- Be capable of planning, time management, organization, and working effectively in teams;

- Work independently or in teams, solve complex tasks in changing working conditions, cooperate well with colleagues in job execution, and address real-life situations;

- Guide and supervise others in performing specific tasks. Take personal responsibility and responsibility for the team.

- Assess the quality of work after completion and the performance of team members.
