Vietnam: Application for approval of a training facility for road traffic safety inspectors

Specifically, according to Point b Clause 2 Article 1 of Decree No. 125/2018/NĐ-CP of Vietnam’s Government amending Article 12b of Decree No. 64/2016/NĐ-CP, the application for approval of training establishment shall be made into 01 copy, including:

- Request for approval of road traffic safety investigator training establishment in compliance with the specimen in Annex VI herein;

- Enterprise registration certificate or documents stipulating the establishment’s functions and duties or establishment decision issued by competent authorities in accordance with the law (certified true copy or copy accompanied by authentic copy for comparison);

- Declaration of facilities;

- List of lecturers, including lecturer’s professional qualifications and working experience.

Besides, Decree No. 125/2018/NĐ-CP also supplements responsibilities of traffic safety investigator training establishments in Article 12h as follows:

- Providing road traffic safety investigator training courses according to the framework training program promulgated by the Ministry of Transport.

- Retaining dossiers of learners and documents relating to road traffic safety investigator training according to regulations on document retention.

- Appointing course managers who are experienced in organizing training courses/refresher courses or in training transport-related professional operations.
