Vietnam: A candidate who gets sick no more than 10 days before the exam date shall be subject to exception in graduation recognition

This is a featured content of Circular No. 04/2017/TT-BGDĐT of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam on the regulation on national high school graduation examination and high school graduation consideration.

Specifically, candidates who meet the requirements prescribed in Article 12 of this Regulation may be granted an exception of graduation recognition in the following cases:

Those who have an accident, get sick or get into unexpected situations during 10 days before the exam or being unable to take the exam because of the mentioned reasons on the first day of exam.

Condition: Academic performance and conduct in grade 12 shall be classified as good and above.

Those who have an accident, get sick or get into unexpected situations after taking at least one test and being unable to take the rest of the exam or volunteering for taking the rest of the exam after their recovery.

Condition:

- Scores of the taken tests required for graduation recognition shall be 5.0 and above;

- Academic performance and conduct in grade 12 shall be classified as medium for the former and good for the latter.
