Vietnam: 08 entities extracting and using data in the National Database on Insurance (Illustration)
According to the Draft Decree, 08 entities extracting and using data in the National Database on Insurance of Vietnam include:
1. Vietnam Social Security extracts and uses data from the National Database on Insurance to serve professional activities in the insurance sector.
2. The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs extracts and uses data to serve state management of insurance, employment, and social security.
3. The Ministry of Health extracts and uses data to serve state management in the health sector.
4. The Government Office of Vietnam extracts data to serve the Government of Vietnam, reporting to the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam.
5. The Ministry of Information and Communications extracts and uses data to combine with other data sources to create value-added information to serve policy consultation and support in e-government and Digital Government.
6. People's Committees of provinces and municipalities use and extract data within their respective province or city.
7. State agencies shall extract data to serve state management activities within their state management under functions and duties.
8. Organizations, enterprises, and individuals are allowed to extract and use their own information in the National Database on Insurance or the personal data of others when those individuals or organizations agree to share.
